Golf sponsorship is part of Truworths' Corporate Social Responsibility. Truworths sponsors Mtwakazi and Shumba Golf Society Green Jacket. This is the premium prize for winning the championship within these socities' golf calendar. Over and above the green jacket, Truworths sponsors the major prizes during some of their games during the course of the year. Truworths donates clothes to charitable organisations like Ekhupumuleneni Geriatric Old People's Home in Bulawayo and Tose Respite Children's Home in Harare.
The Bulawayo Golf Community is also taken care of through our once a year golf tournament at Bulawayo Golf Club. Truworths sponsors all the prizes for the winners and this adds to the excitement and participation in the tournament is always overwhelming.
